EDBDA Jazz Auditions
Directors/Judges please be prepared to attend the judges meeting around 4:30pm
Auditions will start at 5:00pm
Once your students and you have completed auditions you are free to leave. Chair placements will be sent out by the following day.
EDBDA Winter Meeting
EDBDA Annual Winter Directors Meeting will take place in Tahlequah in a designated room in the Tahlequah PAC
Professional Development Session
Dr. Brandon Robinson from Missouri Southern State University will be conducting a discussion session for the members of the EDBDA on Friday at 2:00pm. Several topics have been presented, it’s going to be a great time to gain insight from fellow collogues as well as another professional in the field of music education.
EDBDA All-District Clinic 2023-24
All-District Clinic for 7th grade, 8th&9th grade, and High School will be held in Tahlequah at the Tahlequah Performing Arts Center and hosted by band director LaNell Spyres.
All-District Auditions/Fall Meeting
Auditions will take place at the Ft. Gibson Middle School, hosted by the Ft. Gibson Band Directors - Diana & Eric Hopkins. This audition will include 7th grade, 8th & 9th grade, and HS auditions for chair placement in the EDBDA Bands. For High School students (10-12) also auditioning for 1st Round of OKMEA All-State, their all-district audition will serve the same purpose.

Clinic & Concert
Clinic Information
The rehearsals and concert will take place at the Tahlequah High School Performning Arts Center.
Each group will have roll-call at 8:45am and start rehearsal by 9am. Rehearsals will conclude at 5pm on Friday January 7 (see Other Resources link for a more detailed schedule).
Concert Information
The concerts will begin at 2:30 pm with the Seventh Grade Honor Group, followed by the Junior High and concluding with the High School Honor Group.
Admission: $2 Adults, $1 Students
PepWear will be on-site offering t-shirts and apparel for the event.
Lion Sound will be recording and offering CD/DVD combos for purchase.
Auditions
Auditions for ALL groups will be held at Ft. Gibson Middle starting with the 7th & JH groups in the morning.
